Grinding Wheels
Some of England's first economies were built around the mill. Come harvest! farmers finally recognised the fruits of their labours. Most of these mills have long since vanished, victims of fire, flood and technology.
Today, millstones just like the ones used here, remind us of a more simple time, and primarily the harvest.
Today, architects, designers and gardeners employ these unique monolithic millstones in their landscapes as constant reminders of the harvest, permanence and beauty.
